A fundamental approach to establishing your means of promotion is to evaluate where your product is positioned in relation to your customer. Is your product a retail/end consumer product? Is it a product marketed to industry? Or perhaps it’s both. The goal is to reach as many members of the right audience as easily and cost-efficiently as possible.

In the early stages of a business or brand venture, we advise you err on the side of caution in terms of quantity of print and advertising space. As the business evolves and grows, there needs to be a regular assessment of services, product and target markets and a subsequent change to the degree of marketing.
In the case of established businesses, there will be a clearer and more focused direction in terms of product and services. As such, it would be wise to capitilise on the sliding scale, whereby the more you buy the less it costs.
